Five years of the Free Art & Technology Lab, or F.A.T Lab, so time to celebrate with a new exhibit: F.A.T Gold! From April 1 till 20 Eyebeam,in Chelsea located, presented the acclaimed work of a mix of openminded collaborators. 25 collaborators of all sort of businesses – like artists, hackers, engineers, musicians and graffiti writers – worked together to show and to experience their engagement with the collective’s groundbreaking projects. F.A.T Lab promotes innovative research and progress in the field of new media art and with this exhibition they invited the public to share in a spirit of openness.F.A.T Gold, curated by Lindsay Howard, is a surprising discovery and a source of creativity and thought. The artists engage with culture, addressing the issues and concern of our time. They show very modern art from 2007 to the present in a ridiculousway that surprises the visitors.
