| Surfing is having its moment in New York more so than ever and places like Ruschmeyers and The Surf Lodge in Montauk, and Saturdays Surf NYC are ahead of the pack. These are anything but your average beachy-surf joints, but rather tailored to New Yorkers that live and work in the city during the week and head to Montauk or Rockaway to surf on the weekends. |
| Saturdays Surf NYC, the hybrid surf shop/boutique turned espresso bar has an environment that melds together surfing and city life. Boards, wetsuits, grooming products, great clothes — it’s all here (plus, La Colombe coffee, too.) We’re huge fans of they’re first location in SoHo’s Crosby St. with their back patio simply perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee. Their new location on the quiet corner of Waverly Place and Perry St. (formerly DOMA Cafe) has also the same laid-back vibe with a few benches right outside.
